What world do they live in anyway?

In our travels this week, I was subjected to watching Regis Philbin’s show on Friday morning (no options in the motel dining area). After watching a thoroughly ridiculous segment of debating the styles of women’s panties to wear and seeing him put on a pair of ladies underwear (over his clothes), we were treated to a foretaste of coming events.

Next week’s feature is automotive, culminating in Friday’s focus on “Recession-busters: Cars under $25,000”.  I had to laugh….in my world, a car anywhere close to $25K wouldn’t even be considered.  And from what I read in the statistics, most Americans are in a similar income bracket.  Why would this price range be a recession-buster???  It would be a budget buster to the average American…
