The weather….again!
Today’s headlines tell about “unprecedented” flooding. One hundred miles of bridges are closed along the Missouri River, the Mississippi River, and somewhere in China 40 miles of dikes are overflowing. In Arizona we have a flood of fire, if you will, in the form of wildfires, the likes of which the state has never seen (over 500,000 acres). In Florida they have had such hot dry weather they are in a state of emergency from lack of rainfall. The South is being baked in 95 degree heat, the midwest is having storms that are feeding the floodwaters, they can’t get rid of the winter’s snow in the northwest.
And when was the last time you remember hearing about tornadoes in Massachusetts? This has been the craziest year for weather I can remember in my 55 years.
