Autumn Sliding In…
I love spring and fall, the two moderate seasons. This week’s weather change with the drier air and clearer skies (unless you count the chemtrails) is so refreshing. Just makes you feel like moving and doing things, unlike summer and winter that make you feel like sitting still. This has been a very odd summer, hardly felt like summer at all. Gardening was a real problem this summer, too much rain when you didn’t want it and then not enough when you did.
Last month gave us about 8 foggy mornings, which, if folklore is to be believed, indicates the number of snows we will have this winter. (Ugh, hate to even THINK about winter!) And in mid-August, the starlings were already flying around in their beautiful murmurations, which I’ve learned may indicate a change in seasons approaching. (Want to read more about these beautiful bird formations? Try this link) So I guess we’re sliding into autumn with barely a goodbye from summer.
