The ties that bind
I always feel both blest and stressed between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Stressed trying to keep up with all the comings and goings of our numerous clan, planning get-togethers and figuring out who’s going to be able to meet for dinner when. But blest beyond measure as I see my wonderful family interacting, teasing, having a good time together.
It’s good when those who live a distance away can come and spend some time and we can catch up on what’s been happening in each other’s worlds, and sad when we have to be apart. I genuinely enjoy my kids and grandkids, and love having them close enough to see regularly.
For some reason, we only got a photo of the boys at Thanksgiving. Guess that means we need a group shot of the Bowen Beauties for Christmas! Watch this space…
