Is it just my imagination, or is 75% of all advertising revenue coming from pharmaceutical and medical sources these days? No matter where I go, I see or hear ads for medicines and vaccines and related products. Some are scary and some are humorous…and all of them downright misleading.
There are some days when things just roll by and nothing much bothers you. The weather is good and there’s no crisis to deal with and people are getting along. And then there are days like this weekend, when the sky is overcast and the humidity hangs in the air like a wave of doom.
When amateurs outperform professionals, there is something wrong with that profession. If ordinary people, with no medical training, could perform surgery in their kitchens with steak knives, and get results that were better than those of surgeons in hospital operating rooms, the whole medical profession would be discredited.
